Suddenlink has been my choice as a cable provider for some time now. They have been able to deliver me everything that I could ever ask for from a cable company which is more than I can say for some of the others that I have had in the past. My first cable company that I was a customer of was Time Warner who seemed to do everything that they could to make my experience with them awful. It’s not like I did anything wrong but it felt as if they were actually wanting to punish me for something!
With these guys that I have now I have been able to call them whenever I have a problem with results typically that same day. Rarely have I actually had a technician come out to ‘fix’ the problem like I did with Time Warner nearly every single call. How they were unable to fix a problem that seems to be happening on their end is beyond me but with the fees from techs having to come out and service me, I just gave up on ever asking for one again. It’s crazy to think that they can charge you for a tech call.
Then again, this is a company that has been voted as one of the ‘worst companies in America’ multiple times. Too bad they can’t get their business model straightened out because they are in a position to be an awesome company. They’re burdened by a poor in house organization system with who knows what sort of executive department doing whatever it is that they think they are doing. There’s no sort of development in their models, their packing or even their advertising. I have no idea how they have managed to stay in business as long as they have.
